I have read, since I was a small child, right up until now, I have 13 books in line to be read in the next 3 months.
People who say reading is for “geeks” are obviously the geeky ones, who do not want to expand their vocabulary, do not want to learn anything new, be challenged in a new way.
Just because it elapses more time than a film, does not make it less worthy. However, more often than not, more interesting, more descriptive, and a rather more creative outlet, you can imagine what’s going on, how the story will unfold.
You can make it your own. Your own world to get lost in.
I like to see people excited; about seeing friends and family, about reading books, about love, about seeing their favourite band, about learning something new, about doing the washing, cleaning the kitchen, about the commencement and the conclusion; both the mundane and the extraordinary things.
“Avoid the flourish. Do not be afraid to be weak. Do not be ashamed to be tired. You look good when you’re tired. You look like you could go on forever. Now come into my arms. You are the image of my beauty.”—Leonard Cohen
